Mark Moore is a social entrepreneur, artist, experiential educator, and (ever-distracted) meditator. He’s been traversing the fields of charitable service since 1994, including two decades living and volunteering in Asia, and has worked for nearly three decades in creative media, especially music and design.
As founder and president of the Earthville Network, a global charitable organization dedicated to compassionate and sustainable living, Mark divides most of his time between the Himalayas, the Alps, and the Rockies, launching and managing initiatives to cultivate responsible global citizenship through service learning, cultural exchanges, media, and the arts.
Currently, he is enjoying working with an international team to establish the Dharmalaya Institute, a sustainable village development campus and eco-friendly retreat center in the Indian Himalayan town of Bir, learning and practicing vernacular earthen architecture in the process. He is also producing several music albums for Earthville Music.
One of these days, he intends to sit down for a long time…
